Are You Buying from DealDotCom?

I just went to DealDotCom again to see what was featured on their site today. More than anything else, I think it’s interesting to see what they are listing. Today they had "Marketing Graphics Pro" software listed on the site. The retail price was $37, but DealDotCom had it listed for $17. I have a ton of sites and pages that I like to work on, so anything I find that can change around conversions really interests me. Sure, I could probably learn how to make cool buttons like this in photoshop or find a designer, but if this program makes it real easy for me to post a fancy looking button on the page that increases sales by 10%, it’s worth the lousy $17 to me!

This is now my second purchase through DealDotCom. Last week I purchased the AffiliatePro WordPress plugin they had featured on the site. I’m sure there are some plugins out there that do the same, or almost the same… but this product was another cheap buy and I was able to easily install the script and get what I needed done. So far I like the products I’ve seen listed on DealDotCom, but I am not happy about their ebooks. I would say the majority of ebooks out there are crap. I haven’t looked in detail at the ones they have listed, but I would really like to see them stay away from ebooks and list more products and scripts on the site.

Anyone else out there buying any DealDotCom products or think they should lay off the ebooks?

Gambling at the Hilton Casino

Late last night Reena and I decided to run down to Atlantic City for a bit. We didn’t have any specific casino in mind this time, so I mentioned we should hit up the Hilton Casino, since I just received a letter from the Senior Casino Host there. I never went to the Hilton before, but I saw it was at the end of the boardwalk casinos, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We pulled up to the Hilton and it actually looked pretty nice, not to mention they had surface parking, so I would never have to worry about fitting in the garage.

Once inside we enjoyed the scenery and the casino floor. Even though it was already 1am once we arrived, I noticed this casino seemed a bit slow and calm (which was a good thing). They had two craps tables open, so that was where we started. I cashed in for $500 worth of chips… and that didn’t last more than 10-15 mins. Once those chips were out, I cashed in for another $1100. This time around was a lot better and last for about an hour. We left the craps table up $200 in total.

Another cool thing I liked about the Hilton was they had some slot machines that I hadn’t seen before. They had a roulette slot machine and I tried it out for a bit and pocketed a quick $75. Then after that we hit up some poker and blackjack games, both on machines. I lost$20 on poker and Reena made an extra$50 on the blackjack game. After this we decided to leave while we were still ahead.

In the end, the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City was pretty decent, and I’m glad the senior casino host took the time to contact me. Maybe on my next visit there I will get to meet up with her. I have no idea how the rooms are in the place, but if they have any of the incentives offered by the Resorts, then I’m sure we will be back there soon enough!

The Super Affiliate on NetIncome (Shoemoney Show)

I woke up today with great expectations and excitement, knowing that my appearance on NetIncome, "The Shoemoney Show" would be heard around the world by thousands. I first went to WebmasterRadio.fm this morning and it looked like the regular site design they have had for a while… though things were going a bit slow and I was unable to get the radio station to play. I was then talking to a friend and she was experiencing the same! She talked to WebmasterRadio.fm and they said they were updating and have some DNS issues or whatever… and that the station may not go live again until tomorrow. Once hearing this I was quite upset. So throughout the day I was checking the site and trying to access their radio channels.

It was now 6:10pm and NetIncome had already started, and one of my friends logged on to ask when I would be on. I told him to go to WebmasterRadio.fm and try to connect. Amazingly enough he said he got through, but not exactly sure how. I still was unable to get through, even after trying on a couple different computers. I then tried one more time and downloaded WinAmp and was able to put in the direct URL feed for the show. I got to listen in about 10 mins before Darin finished up. I’m a pretty savvy internet guy, so I was able to figure a few different way out to try and connect to the station, but I was told by so many others that they could never get the station to play.

In the end, the new WebmasterRadio.fm is up and a new direct feed is available up on there site (click here to listen to the show!). I will also soon have a direct player on this page for anyone else to listen in. John Chow Interviews the Super Affiliate!

It looks like Jeremy Shoemoney is still living it up at the TechCrunch40 event, which means the one and only John Chow must be hosting "Net Income" (The Shoemoney Show) again this week on WebmasterRadio. Last week John Chow and friends had some fun on the show and even the "Cow" managed to stop by for a bit! This week is sure to be just as entertaining and profitable, if not more… wait! Of course it will be a lot more entertaining and more profitable than ever! This week John Chow was awesome enough to ask me, "The Super Affiliate" to stop by and answer a few questions! How cool is that!?!
