It was now midnight and after a game of monopoly (which further forecast the night and throwing of dice) and having watched a less than stellar attempt at a Britney Spears comeback at the MTV Video Awards, Reena and I found ourselves slightly bored again. We started joking about going down to Atlantic City, it was funny because we were just there the night before. Not too funny though, because Reena and I live in the moment and do whatever. Soon enough I called Resorts for a room, then we got ready, jumped into the car and drove down to Resorts again. We left at midnight, arrived at 1am, played for an hour at the Craps tables (won a nice $800 off some sweet horn bets!), then grabbed something to eat with our comps.
After some quick gambling and grabbing something to eat, we headed up to the room. Before driving down, I requested a room in their new tower, since last time we were in such a horrible room and the beds were so hard and square. At the Ultra Members only cocktail party the day before, we talked to a couple that said the towers in the new hotel were great. So once arriving I told the lady to set us up in a room in the new tower, and she said that was fine. While looking for the new tower, we noticed it was the same path we took the first time we stayed over. We went up to the room and it was the same type! Same crappy bed and this one smelled like a pet store. Unhappy again, I called down to the main desk to see if they had any suites to upgrade to, they said none. I then called housekeeping and asked for four new pillows and a blanket. About a half an hour after calling, no one ever showed up, so we just decided to leave again. Once again, we drove all the way down to Resorts and got a room, but left without staying in it for more than an hour. Unless I am ever offered a suite, it looks like Resorts is simply a hit and run casino, no stay overs. The good thing is we made a quick profit and got a free dinner, bad part was the driving back and fourth longer was actually longer than the amount of time we stayed there! Go for the game play, gifts and comps… not the rooms!

Last night Reena, her sister and fiancĂ© and myself went to the Resorts Casino. I was invited for a special ULTRA Members only cocktail party, where they were giving away $50,000 or a new Mercedes SLK and many other cash prizes. Unfortunately my name wasn’t one of the 48 names pulled from the 250+ entries in the contest. We also went down that night because Resorts had sent me two complimentary tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld. Reena’s sister and her fiancĂ© really love Jerry, so I gave them the two tickets and Reena and I went to play some table games instead. That night we also went to a nice dinner at theCapriccio, a really nice Italian restaurant. I called my casino host the day before and asked him to set us up with reservations for dinner, he also comp’d the $250 dinner. He’s been really good with hooking me up and gives me a call whenever something cool is going on. In the end, it was a great night and Resorts is quickly making it’s way up my list as one of the better casinos to visit and play at.
After our last horrible trip to the casino, I have since been sent some really great promotions. A couple weeks ago I went down and picked up a free iPod Nano and stero docking station, just for showing up! Then last night I talked with a couple at the cocktail party and they said they have been going to Resorts for years now and have four flat screen tvs, Gucci hand bags and tons of other freebies… all for just playing at Resorts and attending these cocktail party giveaways. I have played so much longer and wagered so much more at the Borgata over the past several years and they haven’t sent me anything besides free rooms. It’s now time for a change, especially since I don’t need the rooms anymore, when I have a new home to come back to. If you haven’t already, give Resorts in Atlantic City a shot… you might get some nice freebies!

AuctionAds is back on the prowl and looking to regain the reputation they originally had, as one of the fastest and most intriguing affiliate programs around. As I’ve reported in the past, AuctionAds has had their share of problems. Issues with downtime, stats tracking problems, heavy drops in earnings and not fixing their problems earlier really made a decent amount of their affiliates think about if they want to continue running AuctionAds on their sites. Over the past few months I have seen all of these problems myself, but I have made some decent money on the side with this program as well. As much as I would like to see the program succeed and continue to earn, first impressions mean a lot, and for anyone new to the network over the past month or two… I would also be skeptical.
However… AuctionAds is on the rise and looking to make their network even better and more profitable than ever. In a new release from the company, they are now paying more and promise the network will be up to the standards that are expected. Here are some new incentives AuctionAds is offering:
FEATURE: New flashier HOT ad creatives for you to choose from.
RESPONSE: I went into detail on this feature in my previous AuctionAds post.
FEATURE: We have increased our affiliate payout from 2% of all referred publisher revenue for six months up to 5% of all referred publisher revenue for six months.
RESPONSE: This is great to hear, but even more than the percentage increase, I would like to have actual ids and tracking on the referrals sent over. I know that I have sent 20+ referrals to the AuctionAds network, but no idea on who they were and if any of them had made any money. We need stats tracking on affiliate referrals.
FEATURE: New publishers just need to sign up and they will receive a balance of $25 automatically. Please note if you signed up with us previously and have never earned a payout we will bump your current balance to $25 too!
RESPONSE: Cash always does well to bring in new affiliates, but you will need to earn another $25 in actual commissions, as payment minimums are now at $50.
I just recently added AuctionAds back to my network of sites after testing some other offers for a little over a week. I wasn’t too impressed with the other programs numbers, so I logged into AuctionAds and created some new banners with their new flashy creatives. I personally think the other ad copy would pull more clicks since you can integrate it into your content, but I’m here to test for you and show you the results. I would love to see the $1,000+ numbers I used to generate per month with AuctionAds… I’ll keep you updated on the programs performance if their improvements have helped overall numbers.

If you haven’t already tried AuctionAds, be sure to apply and your account will be credited with your free $25 signup bonus. Then simply throw a few banners up on your site and meet the $50 payment requirement.

It’s been a few days now since Reena and I have moved into the new house and it’s been really great and exciting. We moved in on Thursday and had a big house warming BBQ party on Saturday! The party was mainly all friends and family, but was pretty cool to pull it off with only being in the house for about 48 hours. Now it’s time to get to business!… At least, that’s what I had hoped for. Before moving in I talked with a company called AllConnect, which sets up all the installations and quotes for internet, cable and phone lines. For internet setup they said Comcast would be over on Sept 4. It had already been a few days with no cable and internet in the house, so Reena and I were both excited to have it setup. I grabbed my Treo and checked my Gmail for the Comcast invoice which had the time they were supposed to arrive. The date was different than the last time I checked, so I called AllConnect and they said Comcast had changed the installation date to Sept 6th! Now I have to wait another two days before I can start working online again. I then called Comcast directly to see if they can have this done any earlier. To my surprise, the lady then tells me she has Sept 7th as the installation date! How ridiculous… over a week now, just to get internet in the house. What’s even more ridiculous is that everything was already setup in the house (Comcast internet, DirectTV and Phone Lines) from the previous owner, but all the providers wanted all the boxes and setups sent back, just so they could re-bill for installation again!
In the meantime I’ve been able to catch up on my fishing and showing off the house to some friends and family that stop by.

My Grandma, Mom, Me, Reena, Grandpa, Heidi and My Dad at the BBQ Party!
Whenever I need to get online I drive back to my parents house and work on my desktop which is still there. Once I’m setup with internet, everything will be transferred over to the new house and I’ll but up and running again. The good news is, even without being online, everything has been running smoothly and as it should. I can check my email through my Treo and make sure all my sites are online, but I can’t make blog posts, which is unfortunate. Once everything is up and running again, look forward to seeing 1-2 new posts daily. Now that I will have my own place, two dedicated business rooms and now a dedicated blogger, I promised myself to now make more than ever, have bigger and better sites and help even more people start living the amazing dream of making money online and living your life the way you want! I have some really cool updates for you from the past two weeks. New ppc tips, NeverBlueAds performance numbers, AuctionAds updates and some new contests and goodies to throw at you!
