EliteRetreat & What to do in San Francisco, CA

Next week at this time I’ll be getting read to head to San Francisco, CA for EliteRetreat. The event should be killer. Shoemoney already had a ton of gifts in store for attendees of the event, and some surprises as well. I can’t wait to hear what some of these marketing geniuses have to say. Especially keynote speaker Guy Kawasaki. I’ll definitely be keeping you updated with info and pictures from the event.

The event is being held at the San Francisco InterContinental. The Intercontinental is a brand new luxurious hotel with 32 floors (made up of glass) and just opened in February 2008. They have a decent web site and from what they have written up, it should also make for a nice office away from the office, while I’m there. I’ll be in San Francisco for a week and still looking for some cool places to visit while there. If anyone has any recommendations on events, locations or landmarks I should try and visit while I’m there, please let me know!

Man, I wish I could afford to go to that. Stupid catch-22s lol.

I don’t know much about north CA but next time you are down in SoCal I’d be happy to buy you a drink and show you around ;) (in a non gay way of course lol).

I will be looking forward to see the updates from you Zac. I am hoping next time Jeremy holds it somewhere in the East Coast, so I can attend as well.

    Zac,

If you love steak you have to check out BoBo’s Steakhouse - http://www.boboquivaris.com/

When I spoke at Elite Retreat last year I recommended BoBo’s to attendees and they loved it.

It also just so happens to be my favorite steak house in the world.

Here’s the catch - if you go you’ve gotta order a “bone-in filet mignon.”

BTW - you definitely should spend a day in Fisherman’s Wharf - get lunch at McCormick & Schmick’s seafood house…

    Beware fo the bush man…

    Have fun in San Fran!

    Kris

    Zac,
Get a cab, drive thru the city, see all the interesting things at once: Golden Gate Bridge, the crookiest street of the world - Lombard, Haight and Ashbury - still in 1960, Victorian homes, Marina district with its yachts, Twin Peaks Panorama with the Bay Bridge, Legion of Honor Museum (inside, too).
If you have a spare day or two, visit Calistoga (with heated mineral water pools) in Napa Valley, wineries (Castello di Amorosa, made as a castle), and others, if have time.
