When first starting out the HARO web site and service, Peter wanted to create a site and mailing list that provided extreme value to his audience, while also eliminating the time it took for himself to personally run the business, while also connecting experts with publishers and media outlets in the process. The concept of the business was simple, but the personality and experience that Shankman brought to HARO was what made it stand out from the crowd.
After successfully selling HARO for millions, Shankman now focuses his time and effort consulting with big name agencies like NASA, writing multiple books and also his new venture at Shankminds.com, where he connects with other like-minded entrepreneurs and experts.
