New Money Making Holiday Offers

Last week I wrote about a few "Christmas & Holiday Money Making Offers" that were available through NeverBlueAds. As we are now a week closer, it looks like NeverblueAds has ramped up with a few new offers and a lot more holiday creatives. Here are some of their latest offers that you can take advantage of before the big day hits!

Zac’s Marketing Tip:
I’ve heard that offers like My Christmas Crush have been doing phenomenally well on social networks like MySpace and Facebook. If you have access to advertising on these sites, I recommend you act now and test this one out.

Zac’s Marketing Tip:
Everyone is looking for new recipes and ideas for the holidays. You can easily target your traffic to some new Egg Nog recipes with this toolbar, or if you are dedicated enough, you can try and push this offer through some pay per click marketing. You know there are going to be some massive traffic looking for new recipes to share with their families this holiday.

Zac’s Marketing Tip:
Every holiday and every day, people send a massive amount of ecards. Login to your NeverBlueAds account and you can actually pull some Christmas / Holiday ecards from their creatives area. Placing these images on your site and using your affiliate id will heavily increase your clicks and conversions. People will see the actual card that they want to send out, enticing them to join MyFunCards and earning you a commission.
———————————————————————–

I wanted to list a bunch of other campaigns because NeverBlueAds added a ton of Christmas and Holiday banners for many general campaigns, but it would just make a mess of this post to go through them all. We are now going through the "12 days of Christmas" and all of these campaigns can make you a nice chunk of change to end the year off with. If you haven’t already, join NeverBlueAds or login to your current account and check these offers out. Have you had any success with Christmas or holiday offers this season?

Whether they are being sued or not, I can’t remember if they were on the list. However that landing page looks way better than most I have seen. At least the subscription is seen at the top. Some shady offers make the text of that hardly readable. This type of industry and ringtones in general have gone so many changes over the last 6 months, it’s hard telling what’s ok to promote and what’s not. Looking forward to hearing about this.

What do yo think about promoting services such as Christmas crush??

Essentially, you have to get someone to enter their cell phone number into the webpage and doing so signs them up for a $6 a week subscription service. You say it’s hot on myspace so it is targeted at teens who don’t know that they are signing up for something.

I don’t know.. just seems kinda shady to promote those offers. They prey on unsuspecting people. Would you still pimp a program if it were targeted to scam the elderly?

That’s a kinda shady promotion. I don’t think I’d want to deal with the repercussions of this one. Some kid paying $20 a month for some silly text message, not my style.

All those ringtone offers are very misleading as you are automatically signed up for a monthly charge. I got scammed by one once and had to go through a lot to have my cell phone company block the monthly charge. It was impossible to contact the ringtone company so if you promote these things be sure you know that you are preying on the ususpecting.

The bottom line is, that it’s just another service. The offers are everywhere because they are providing a service, people are using them and companies are making money. With the new terms effecting ringtone/text cell message offers, they make it pretty clear about paying on a monthly basis.

In addition to going to a site and putting in your cell number, you are then send a text code to your cell to place onto the site to activate your account. Inside this text message it TELLS YOU the pricing per month, along with how to activate and cancel your memberships. The landing page will also provide this same information.

My intention wasn’t to start a discussion on the moral, marketing or ethical billing issues on theses offers, but to point on that this offer was one of the higher money generating offers for the holiday campaigns. I personally have not run the offer, but have seen and heard it is doing well.

Pity I didn’t get in on Christmas affiliate stuff this year. I think I’ll start a site in January about Christmas, to get some great rankings. ;)

Thanks for the tips. Did they send this to you in an email, or did you just search? I have always wondered why affiliate networks don’t send emails for holidays with suggested best sellers.

Once I redo my site, hopefully tonight, I can start making money!!

    Zac!:

When you started moneyreign, did you just create straight html pages? I want to setup a couple of sites but it takes a while for me to program a CMS.

    Are u using a CMS?

  16. Zac Johnson said on December 17th, 2007 at 4:02 pm

I’ve always done straight HTML. I hate finding programmers and waiting on them. Two years ago I made a site with over 10,000 html pages. Was a killer site, but no programming or cms at all.

I just got done running my holiday offer from CJ.com. It was my first affiliate profit EVER! (Then I got banned by google. heh.). I wonder if it’s too late to test out a a few of these…. (signs on Neverblue)

Anyway I just posted a full article on how I achieved a 6.8% CTR with that campaign, and how you can mimic that success.

Good Luck Everyone on their Holiday Campaigns!

Sorry to reply to my own comment. But to clarify (because I can’t edit). I did not get “banned” but rather the ad campaign was disallowed.

I just signed up with them, doubt they will get back to me before the new year though.

I was very inspired by the idea about the screensavers. I actually snagged up http://www.free-screensavers-and-wallpapers.com a few months back, that domain is just ripe for some SEO and backlink generating for some traffic :-)
