    I finally have hosting, my own domain name(s). http://www.nicholasachase.com and a WordPress-based blog. Woo Hoo! As far as online profitability, I am one year into and four years away from a profitable on-line business. The realities of this market are daunting. Niches oversaturated with ads and landing pages oozing "Buy Now" buttons.

    I have re-formed my digital video production company, and will be following Michael Jordan and Ray Romano around 18-holes of golf at the Celebrity PRO_AM Tournament in Reno, NV in July. My day job pays the bills, while at night and on weekends I will persue my on-line success.

    If anyone had told me up front it would take so long to make a living on-line, I might not have even started.

    Hard work and persistence will eventually pay off, or the failure teaches a life lesson at least!

    Patience I have with my kids, web marketing requires an equal measure of patience for sure!

  2. Great article Zac! More affiliates, or any entrepreneurs really, should know what they're getting into before starting a business. There's no such thing as getting rich instantly, overnight, like you, etc. Unless, of course, you're willing to put the work in.

  6. Nice post, and congrats for your accomplishments. Many people don't know or care about how hard it is to reach success, especially online. Just to be a decent internet marketer (making a few sales a day) nowadays, takes a lot of hard continuous work and skills. By the way I hope your finger gets better soon.

  8. I understand how you feel about the statement, it makes it seem like they are saying “I wish I had your luck” and they do not realize it took much hard work and effort to get there. In other cases though, the lucky do get rich. So I guess it depends on the situation and person.
