ClickBank Gravity: What the Top Offers have in Common

There is nothing amazing about having your product listed on ClickBank. However it is quite the accomplishment if you can get listed among the top GRAVITY rankings out of the thousands of different products and services on the site.

ClickBank has paid out nearly $2.3 BILLION to their affiliates and clients over the year. Having a top ranked gravity product on ClickBank is serious business!

For those who have no idea how ClickBank’s gravity system works, here how they explain it.

Grav: Short for GRAVITY™ performance statistic, this number represents a unique calculation by ClickBank that takes into account the number of different affiliates who earned a commission by promoting this product over the past 12 weeks. Since more recent transactions are given a higher value, this number can give you an idea of what products are “hot” at the moment, in terms of being promoted by many affiliates and making a good number of sales. However, high gravity can also indicate that there will be a lot of competition in promoting this product.

In short… usually the better the gravity, the more successful the program.

While recently looking through the top gravity ranked programs on ClickBank, I came across a familiar trend among their landing pages.

Take a look at the TOP 5 programs and their landing pages below and see if you can figure it out.

Yes my friends… video is still king and it’s convert audiences like never before.

I’ve posted about those crazy cartoon drawing videos in the past and how effective they are. Two of the top four programs on ClickBank are using these same types of videos to drive thousands of leads every month through their landing pages.

Sales Funnels: Good for Marketers, Bad for CustomersFor the most part, these are dead simple landing pages with a convincing video that starts the sales funnel process. This can be as simple as collecting the users email address, or pre-selling them while pushing them over to the order form page.

It’s not a coincidence the top four rated programs on ClickBank are all using video. It’s proof the system works!

If you still aren’t using video in your landing pages it’s definitely time to start split testing against your boring text based pages!

    1. Videos are great, especially when you don't have to go through the massively long sales pages. However, some of these sales videos can go on forever… and I hate when you can breeze through them, yet it's all part of the conversion and sales process.

  3. Gravity doesn't tell you how well the product converts, or how many copies sell each month. Nope- all it tells you is how many affiliates have made sales promoting that product. And I'm sure you realize that not every affiliate promoting it will make a sale.

    1. It's a good measurement to go by based on what people are promoting right now. Of course not everyone promoting the product will make a sale. Same as any other offer.

  4. Here's another thing they all have in common – they all make unrealistic claims to the consumer about what they'll be able to accomplish after purchasing their product, lolz!!!

    1. Ha yes, well the majority of any "make money", "self improvement" and "weight loss" services in the world are they same. It all comes down to the individuals who put forth the time and effort to make them succeed. Most products are simply "selling the dream".
