A lot of people say Alexa rankings are useless. (Usually people with very high rankings :P). Well, there is a lot of speculation on if it matters or not. In the long run it doesn’t matter much, but it’s still pretty cool to see what you are ranked vs. all the other sites online. Alexa provides free reports on Traffic Reach, Traffic Rank and Page Views.

- Find Your Google Page Rank
Unlike Alexa, PageRank is very valuable to your site. If you want to learn more about Google PageRank visit PageRank Explained. If you would like to look up your web site’s current or future Page Rank, you can try RankAlert.net.

- Technorati
Alexa is great for a quick rank on where your page stands against the world, but Technorarti specialized in ranking just for blogs. Not only does Technorati give a rank for blog standings, but also how many incoming links are going to the site, along with when the blog was last updated.
